It is also ideal for baking non-pre-treated cast iron Dutch oven. Combines protection and care The food-safe paste maintains optimal care when applied after each cooking with the fire pot. This preserves the pre-treated surface of the Petromax fire pot. At the same time, the care paste protects the fire pot from rust and unwanted sticking of food. Use as a baking paste. The paste is also suitable for the first or repeated baking of Dutch oven. Thanks to the baking process with the care paste, any rust spots can also be eliminated. Unique composition of ingredients. Unlike standard cooking oils, this paste does not become rancid thanks to a refined combination of different natural oils and is even durable for up to 7 years. This means that the fire pot can be safely maintained even before prolonged storage. Forms an excellent patina. Thanks to the regular use of the food-safe care paste, a high-quality patina forms over time. This patina not only benefits the quality of the cast iron fire pot, but also optimises its cooking and frying properties.
